Global Crossing Expands Data Center Contract with Gemalto to Support Services Platform in Latin America

Services will support mobile operators in Brazil and Latin America.

São Paulo, Brazil - May 19, 2009 -- Global Crossing (NASDAQ: GLBC), a leading global IP solutions provider, today announced that Gemalto, a world leader in digital security, has expanded its data center services to support its platform in Brazil and Latin America. This will allow the company to provide services to the most important mobile carriers in the region.

Currently, Global Crossing provides Gemalto with hosting services for more than 30 servers, security database, Internet access and database services.
