Global Crossing Debuts New Model for Partner Program to Give Members a Business Advantage

Florham Park, N.J. - June 2, 2009 -- Global Crossing (NASDAQ: GLBC), a leading global IP solutions provider, today introduced the Global Crossing Business Advantage Partner Program™, a new, three-tiered channel partner program that provides participants greater benefits and a comprehensive, flexible set of support resources and partner tools.

The Business Advantage Partner Program is part of the company's indirect sales strategy and is structured to provide the maximum level of support based on a participant's contribution and commitment. Global Crossing provides partners with a set of tools and resources to help them extend their business reach and build a profitable Global Crossing solutions-based business.

"Partnerships can be powerful paths to growth," said Michael Jerich, vice president of Global Crossing's Channel Sales. "And now it's easier than ever to do business with Global Crossing. We rely on the sales expertise of our partners to achieve growth while satisfying a diverse range of customers. That's why we've re-branded, restructured and revitalized our Business Advantage Partner Program to provide consistent quality support and value, to demonstrate our continued commitment to our partners, and to enable a simpler, more intuitive way of doing business with Global Crossing."

The changes to the program include newly structured partner levels (platinum, gold and silver) that clearly delineate the associated benefits and partner support at each level, as well as the requirements needed to move between levels. This new structure offers a comprehensive and flexible set of resources designed to support the pursuit of consistent revenue growth. The new program also has expanded options for partner training; solutions-based sales tools that support time to market; a newly designed, easy-to-navigate partner extranet that offers instant access to all the relevant information; and self-serve access to sales tools and product collateral.

Intelisys, the nation's leading Master Agency distributor of business communications services representing more than 30 telecommunications service providers, supports the goals of the newly structured program.

"Intelisys looks forward to building on our successes with Global Crossing under this new tiered structure of the Business Advantage Partner Program," said Jay Bradley, president of Intelisys Telecom Services. "Our top-performing sales partners value the commitment Global Crossing has made to the telecom indirect sales channel through this re-tooled and re-vitalized program."
