Global Crossing Completes IP Network for Brazilian Infrastructure Management Company CIBEPar
Global Crossing's IP solutions connects, monitors and enhances security in CIBEPar's facilities nationwide
São Paulo, Brazil - October 29, 2008 -- Global Crossing (NASDAQ: GLBC), a leading global IP solutions provider, today announced that it had completed building a network for CIBE Participações Empreendimentos (CIBEPar) that will be used to deliver satellite and terrestrial data transmission, data center, dedicated Internet access and managed security services.
Global Crossing's high-performing, secure network links all the facilities that integrate CIBEPar, a company that manages sanitation, highway and energy public services contractors in Brazil. For instance, to serve the tollhouses localities throughout Brazil, Global Crossing is providing an IP satellite private network.
