Global Crossing Receives "Positive" Rating in MarketScope Report for Fixed Domestic Network Service Providers of Voice and Data, U.K.

Florham Park, N.J. - July 28, 2008 -- Global Crossing (NASDAQ: GLBC), a leading global IP solutions provider, today announced that it has received a "positive" rating in Gartner's "MarketScope for Fixed Domestic Network Service Providers of Voice and Data, U.K."* Global Crossing was one of 13 companies covered in the report.

Each vendor was evaluated on a set of criteria including offering (product) strategy, geographic strategy, overall viability (business unit, financial, strategy, organization), sales execution/pricing, market responsiveness and track record, customer experience, and operations.
